a. Process
- Orders should entered on the form provided (use order button on
Business Directory or Business Page).
- No payment is required at time of order.
- Vinntec will treat the arrival of the order form as an
authority from your business to proceed.
- Vinntec will convert the information provided in the order
form into the required service(s) and set it up on the Internet, liaising with
you as necessary.
- An invoice will then be sent to you together with:
- A printout of the entry itself taken from the Internet;
- Details of the Uniform Resource Locator (URL), which constitutes the
Internet address of your entry.
b. Payment
- Payment is required on Invoice within the following periods based on
the Invoice Date:

- Non-receipt of payment by the due date will result in the immediate removal
of all your entries from Local Links.
- Where options are added during the subscription period of the Business
Directory, the initial invoice period may be pro-rated, if necessary, in order
to synchronise expiry / renewal dates.
c. Notes
- A current Local Links (Business
Directory) subscription is a pre-requisite for applying for any optional
services.
- Statements are not normally issued - but, if required, this must be stated
at the time of order.
- All prices quoted cover the period shown for which the entry will be
displayed on the Internet. If a request is received to remove an entry before
its expiry date, there will be no refund for the remaining period.
- All information provided by you, other than that authorised for display on
the Internet, shall be treated as confidential and used solely for the purposes
of operating the service.
- Vinntec reserves the right to decline acceptance of any
material which it considers unsuitable for inclusion in a Local Links service without stating its reasons.
d. Service Level
- Electronic Pigeon Holes will be checked daily. Messages will be forwarded
within 3 working days.
- Agreed changes to Local Links entries
will be made within one week of receipt of the request.
- In the event of an error by Vinntec, corrections will
normally be carried out on the day reported.
- Clients opting for either the Electronic Pigeon-Hole service, or a link to
their own E-mail addresses, will be notified as early as possible of any
planned maintenance which will render the Local Links service unavailable for a period
exceeding four hours.
e. Liability
- Vinntec accepts no responsibility for interruptions to the
Local Links services whether for system
maintenance, or network problems, or server failure. However, the intention is
that Local Links will be available close to
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Vinntec shall not be liable for any loss arising directly or
indirectly from use of the Local Links
service.
f. Copyright
- Where a client provides any material - especially pictures and logos -
which is subject to copyright, the client is responsible for ensuring that the
owner's permission has been obtained for its use on the Internet.
- If, as the result of notification of infringement of a copyright,
Vinntec is obliged to remove all or part of a client's entry, no
refund is payable. Furthermore, additional charges may be incurred if an entry
has to be extensively re-worked in order to retain it on the Internet.
