This week we are back to normal in the sense of daily lectures and one Jerusalem trip. The lectures have covered: 'Churches of the Middle East'
and 'Churches of Jerusalem' (their genesis and history); also 'The Church in the Holy Land after Jesus' (two lectures of 2 1/2 hours each on the early Church according to the Acts of the Apostles); and, finally, 'Palestinian Liberation Theology' (the last of 3 lectures). We also had an all day outing to the 'two mountains' of Jerusalem: Mount Moriah and Mount Herzl; also a visit to the communities in-between (ultra orthodox and similar).
This, the last of our visits, was an eye opener!!

The group at the Western Wall with Daniel Rossing.

In one of the communities between the two
'mountains', listening to Daniel.

A notice!

Jerusalem's Great Synagogue.

Entrance to one of the 'communities'.

Theodor Herzl's Tomb (founder of modern Israel).

The group at Yitzhak Rabim tomb (Prime Minister of
Israel) who was assassinated in 1995.
We have organised two extra inputs this week: one by Father Tom (previous rector of Tantur) who was an advisor at the Second Vatican Council; the other input is a series of talks by 'Israeli Committee Against House Demolition.........speaks for itself!!
